Shelton Springs

The legendary Shelton Springs Disc Golf Course features Pacific Northwest Disc Golf at its finest. Multiple concrete tee locations allow you to pick your desired challenge level at this dedicated disc golf park. The logging theme pays homage to Shelton's roots. Select from the Spring Board, Timber Claw, or Misery Whip layouts. Find amenities such as garbage and porta-potty facilities. Dogs welcome, but please be respectful of other golfers and clean up after your pet. Please, NO SMOKING or open flames on the course, which is public property that falls within the City of Shelton's watershed.

Enter at the Chainman Statue for the practice basket and Hole 1.

Spring Board Layout

A "spring board" in the logging industry was used to get lumberjacks up higher on the tree to do their cutting.

The shortest layout on Shelton Springs is aligned with a PDGA-RED level course. This layout is perfect for novice players, rated about 850 or below, or those looking to get a quick round in.

Timber Claw Layout

Lumberjacks use a "timber claw" to grab onto and drag logs around the work site.

The Timber Claw will sink it's teeth into intermediate players rated around 925 on this PDGA-WHITE level layout.

Misery Whip Layout

The two-man crosscut saw is known to those who've used it, as a "misery whip"! Doesn't that sound fun?

This PDGA-BLUE level layout is the most challenging regularly configured track that Shelton Springs has to offer. Long distance and controlled shots are required to score well. Designed to test advanced players, rated 975 and above.
