Cascade Challenge

The Disc Golf Pro Tour's Cascade Challenge

Shelton Springs is the home of the Cascade Challenge. First held in 2023, this beautiful course offers the pro tour players a chance to take a break from the long golf course style play they grind through on the west coast swing, and get back into the woods to shape technical shots on fair, but demanding lines. Creativity and accuracy are rewarded over distance; and after a week in the beautiful Pacific Northwest forests, everyone comes out a winner.

"Shelton Springs is an area favorite, located less than 90 miles from downtown Seattle and features three layouts that will be used to create a new competition layout for the tournament this spring. The course features a few open holes but primarily consists of tight lines carved through an old-growth evergreen forest with plenty of gaps off the tee – a quintessential Pacific Northwest disc golf course. The event will have strong support from Mason County Disc Golf Club, which manages the course and has close connections with the local community." Disc Golf Pro Tour News Release, February 11, 2023
